It's not Monday - and that is a thing to celebrate. I do realize that the most frequent times of the week to write motivational jibberish is on Monday - or as Sunday grinds to a screeching halt and you stand at the edge of the abyss that is Monday... Salty enough for ya?
Nod your head if you recognize your damn self in this senario: the weekend comes creeping and you fill your head with the wonders you will do in the weekend - how you will do this thing you really and wanted and that other thing you have been waiting all dreary week to be able to full-fill - but then it is suddenly Monday and you haven't done half of those things. *Nod nod.
Well, it's simple.
You aimed to chill - but straight went sloppy.
You are living by a certain pace and a certain rate of action on a daily basis - now the mistake when coming to the weekend, is to slow that pace down. Why if anything you should speed up, move faster and get the fullest out of your time-off!
Think about it. Holding the idea that you HAVE to bum out in the couch to have a weekend is crap - since that will definetly not get you to that concert, get you to meet your friends or perhaps your future better half. Unless of course your whole plan is to bum out on the couch - then that does suffice. But still make an effort out of it! Slack with style man!
You get your snaaaacks lined up and your best comfy slacker-pants on and you dent that damn couch man! Point is - don't change the speed with which you live, the level of efficiency you operate on. The only acceptable change is up-wards! Why not double the speed of your motions in the weekend? Live man! LIVE!
So when Monday comes crawling, you out-run that silly satan, cause you are not lagging and have not been dragging your feet. You on top!
