Monday, you swindling swine. Just when I thought you had passed me by - you are back to make me cry.
Just kidding, I don't feel that way. But you must admit, it did rhyme a bit. Some say Monday is shit, but Monday is just a day - and by the way, doubt Monday asked to be Monday. We gave it it's bad name.
Monday is in fact, according to traditional Christian, Hebrew and Islamic calendars, the 2nd day of the week. What? Yes. Really? Yes. Does it change its shitty-ness. Nope.
BUT, just but - get a grip on this: Monday is derived from the Old English Mōnandæg meaning 'the moon day'. And you know what that means, right?
'Cause I don't.
I would love to know thou', why is it the moon day, does it have anything to do with the actual moon or is it just an arbitrary day to praise the moon gods? Let me know if you know.
But one thing I do know: "Does knowing that it is a 'moon day' change how you perceive your Mondays?"
But you can always change your mind.
Here's a fresh beat for your Monday - 'Smooth Sailing' by Leon Bridges.
Have an extraordinary day.
